Linda loved San Antonio and its Mexican influence; she loved Trinity University where she graduated in 1959. Linda loved libraries where she worked for the Denver Public Library, the San Antonio Public Library and the MacArthur High School Library. She loved to travel which she did extensively with her parents in her early life, later with her husband, David White and her many Texas and San Antonio friends to places in Mexico and Central America.
Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, David White and two stepsons, Rusty White and wife, Ginny Mitchel and their five daughters and five grandchildren; David C. White of Lewes, Delaware and wife, Pam Malsch, their son, daughter and one grandchild; her sister, Mary Sellers of Ozona, Texas predeceased her this year. Also, surviving are her nephew, Jay Hufstedler and wife, Kay and their two daughters.
Confirming her wishes, Linda will be cremated with private graveside services at a later date in Baird, Texas.
