Lisa Sue Weissberg

In loving memory of Lisa Sue Weissberg, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2024. In honor of her life, her legacy of love, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. May her memory forever be cherished.

Lisa was born on October 26, 1967, to Bruce William Gunkle and Sherilyn Sue Gunkle. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from Madison High School. She earned her Bachelor’s in Theology from Wayland Baptist University in 2017 and her MBA in 2018.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Pastor Bruce William Gunkle.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerold Weissberg; mother, Sherilyn Sue Gunkle; sister, Theresa Alvarado; mother-in-law, Carmen Weissberg; Lisa’s daughters, Caitlynn-Paige Weissberg, Rebecca Faye Blasco, and Hosanna Sue Blasco; her sons, Nathaniel Bruce Blasco (and his wife, Alyssa Blasco), Alexander Weissberg, Timothy Clatterbuck, and Gavriel Asher Hammerweiss. Lisa is also survived by her beloved uncle, Jimmy Gunkle and Mike Godwin, and many extended family members who hold a special place in her heart.
