Lloyd W. CMSgt. Lindsey

He was the youngest of three children Gerald Lindsey dec. and Doris Jean Newman dec.. At the age of 20, he enlisted in the USAF and was sent immediately to Lackland AFB, where he met his wife to be, Mary Notzon. In his distinguished 26 year career in the Security Service, Lloyd's duty locations included Hawaii, Germany, Japan and San Antonio.

While stationed in Hawaii in the late 1960's, Lloyd discovered his lifelong passion, sailing! Upon retiring from the USAF in 1975, Lloyd continued his marked career as a sailor at Canyon Lake, TX. He quickly joined Canyon Lake Yacht Club and was a dedicated and active member until his death. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Notzon Lindsey; daughters, Nancy Ernst and husband, John, Jennifer Caffery and husband, Gary, and Katheryne Lindsey; sons, Frederick Lindsey and wife, Sandra and William Bill Lindsey and wife, Yvonne; grandchildren, Bevin Caffery, Lindsey Colvin, Patrick Caffery, Michael Lindsey, Elizabeth Ernst, Sarah Lindsey and Hamish Lindsey; great granddaughter, Kaylan Griffis.
