It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lorenzo Jaymes Gonzalez, born on March 10, 2020, to Sirena Michelle Rymers and Johnathan Gonzalez. Lorenzo left us far too soon on December 25, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.
Lorenzo had a deep love for the outdoors. He was always excited to run, explore, and discover the beauty of nature. Whether he was playing outside on his four wheeler and scooter or stealing footballs off the football field, Lorenzo cherished every moment he got to play outside with his family.
He was a true fan of Monster Trucks, often watching them with awe as they roared and performed amazing stunts. He loved imagining himself as part of the action, mimicking the powerful trucks with his own toys and even creating little racing plays in his room. Lorenzo could often be found wearing his Spider-Man costume, pretending to swing from building to building, or heroically saving the day just like his favorite superhero, the joy he experienced while playing in his costumes was contagious, as he would excitedly act out scenes, his face lighting up with pure joy.
Lorenzo loved going to school every day. He was always eager to learn, excited by the new things he could discover. Whether it was meeting new friends, exploring different activities, or simply being in the classroom, Lorenzo embraced every moment with a smile. His enthusiasm for school was contagious, and his cheerful spirit made it a fun place for everyone around him.
Lorenzo’s precious light brought joy, love, and laughter into the lives of everyone who knew him. His bright smile, infectious giggle, and playful spirit will forever be remembered by his family and friends. Although his time with us was brief, the love he gave will live on in our hearts for eternity.
Lorenzo is survived by his loving parents, Johnathan Gonzalez (Destiny) and Sirena Michelle Rymers. He will forever be cherished by his brother, Zaiden Gonzalez, and siblings; Aubriee Rendon, Zayden Rendon, Aiden Rendon, and Zayla Rendon. His maternal grandparents, "Nana" Maria and "Popo" Santiago Rymers, and paternal grandparents "Momo" Christina and "Popo" Juan Gonzalez, held him close, and his memory will live on in their hearts. Lorenzo was also deeply loved by his aunts, Sabrina Rymers, Samantha Rymers, Serenity Rymers, Iris Gonzalez, Vivian Gonzalez, and his uncle, Santiago Rymers Jr. He will also be remembered by his five cousins, Augustin, Adeline, Sophia, Diego, and Ezekiel.
Lorenzo’s warmth and love will never be forgotten. While his time with us was brief, his impact on our lives is immeasurable, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
