Lorraine F. Morris

Lorraine “Renee” Fitch Morris, loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother/”Mamaw” joined God’s Choir in heaven on November 14, 2016. Renee is preceded in death by her mother, Kay Jenkins Alberts, husband Carl E. Morris and grandson John Carl Mayo. She is survived by her sister, Marla Jean Hamby (Skip and son Greg), sons, Wade M Sheffield Jr., and Randy D. Morris (Denise), daughters Carolyn Mayo (George II) and Faye Lemons (Tommy), granddaughters Kathy Mayo Landry (Mike), Laurie Getter (Rodger) and Ashlyn Morris, grandsons Chris Sheffield (Marcy), Nick Sheffield, Brian Morris (Katie), Craig Morris, George Mayo III and Jeff Lemons and great grandchildren Garrett, Wyatt, Tyler, Zola, Linzy (Chase),Cade, Sam , Max and great daughter in law Teresa Mayo.

Renee worked for many years for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company and Avon. She later co-founded an independent tax preparation company and Morris Realty with her loving husband, earning her Texas Real Estate Broker’s License in 1978. She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir for many years.

Renee’s family would like to thank all who loved and cared for her. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Natalino, Alma & Claudette at Franklin Park-TPC, Larry & Staff at TruCare Living Centers, and Kay Turner Sheffield.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3pm-5pm at Sunset Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX). A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3:30pm at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 8102 Midcrown Dr, Windcrest, TX 78239. Private entombment to take place on a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to John Calvin Presbyterian Church.
