

She is survived by daughter, Renee Smith; son-in-law, Keith Smith; and nine nieces and nephews, including Jim Holbrook and Flo Hill, with whom she was particularly close.
She received her undergraduate degree in English from UT Austin, Master's Degree from OLLU, taught advanced English at Alamo Heights High School and was President Elect of the Texas Association of Teachers of English.
In 1973, she became active in real estate. She was broker/owner of her own real estate franchise, consultant to real estate publishing companies, course materials editor for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS SABOR, lecturer on numerous real estate topics, expert witness and consultant to several real estate attorneys in Texas. At SABOR she served on the Board of Directors, on the Grievance Committee, as a real estate instructor and was a TREPAC Sterling R Member.
She was recognized in Who's Who in Education in America, Who's Who in Real Estate in America and in 2002, received the Special Service award for her outstanding dedication to the real estate industry.
She was blessed with numerous friends and had true compassion for people. Her love and desire to serve the Lord was reflected in her works and she inspired many.
