Dear Chris, children, DeMartino family, Bauml family: LouAnn was a rare and very special person. As a cousin I remember how we used to play and I think of her gentle nature, her sense of humor and her laugh, and how her smile would light up her face. I admire LouAnn's positive attitude and the way she would focus on the good in people. Last year, LouAnn took my Mom communion and some baked goods numerous times in the hospital and at rehab--even tho she had many challenges herself. LouAnn put others first and gave of herself without hesitation. I will miss her and think of her and I know this world is a better place because of her and the love she shared with all of us.

May your family be full of beautiful memories. Lou Ann, you are a Treasure.

Leatrice, we were so sorry to hear about your daughter. I had asked Jacqueline about 2 weeks ago and she said she was doing okay. Just try to remember all of the good times you had with her and hope this will ease the pain of losing her.

Lou Ann corresponed with me and others from Ursuline's class of 1974. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bauml & DeMartino families.

I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familar name; laugh as we always laughed together. Let my name be ever spoken without the trace of a shadow in it. Life means all that it ever meant. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.

My thoughts and prayers are with the DeMartino family. Lou Ann will be missed by her many friends at Regency Place.

Lou Ann was part of my family for twenty seven years. She was there for every family gathering with her kindness and smile. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her work here may be over, but she is already at work helping others in heaven. Chris,my prayers are always with you and Brian.

I first met Lou Ann at work. And from there began a beautiful friendship, extending over three decades. There is no one better to have by your side. Lou Ann's laughter is contagious. Small in size, Lou Ann is mighty in spirit. She makes us all better. But the thing that will always stand out for me about Lou Ann is her great LOVE -- love of God, love of family, love of friends and love of her dear Tipper. And "Love never dies." 1 Corinthians 13.

I was touched by a life dedicated to family, parish, and the needs of others. Truly an image of Christ in our midst. I send my sincere sympathy to mother and family and pray that God will comfort them as promised in this time of grieving. Lou Ann's mission is accomplished even though it seems premature to us. We are truly saddened by Lou Ann's death. Lou Ann was more than just a friend and Aunt; she was an amazing person. She was always so kind and considerate to us and also with my sons Octavio and Mauro Vega,and Vega Lugo's Family my heartfelt condolences. Oscar Vega.
