

Lou Ann dedicated her life to serving others through countless acts of kindness. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church where she actively volunteered as a Eucharistic and nursing home minister. Lou Ann was devoted to her family and friends, inspiring them with her love, faith, and gentle words of encouragement.
Despite her medical setbacks, Lou Ann exhibited courage and strength by continuing to do the things she loved such as cooking and baking for her family, going for her morning run, and taking care of her granddaughter. One of her proudest personal achievements included completing the San Antonio Rock-n-Roll Marathon in 2008. Lou Ann will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lou Ann is survived by her spouse of 27 years, Christopher W. DeMartino; mother, Leatrice Rose Bauml; children, Christine Tigue and husband Darrin, Aaron Pfeiffer and wife Jacquelyn, and Bryan DeMartino; granddaughter, Brooklyn Pfeiffer; brothers, Robert Bauml, Jr. and wife Debbie, Carl Bauml, Ronald Bauml and wife Lori; sisters, Cindy Richard, Mary Lee Gibbs and husband Ted.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.
