

He was a veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient, serving in General George Patton's 3rd Army, 90th Division, 359th Regiment. He entered the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium, went across Belgium and Germany, and was in Czechoslovakia when the war ended on May 8, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Letha Moore Turner; brother, Loren Moore; son, Ross Robbins Moore; and great-grandson, Jason Galloway, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Betty Sue Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Lou Moore Galloway and Gregory Galloway; granddaughter, Jamie Zinn and her husband Christopher; grandson, Jason Galloway and his wife Misty; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kayla, Madison, and Liza Hope.

Pallbearers will be Larry Roscoe, Steve Gilbert, Walter Lenamon, Jason Galloway, Greg Galloway and Chris Zinn. Wiley Hill will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Interment will be private at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
