Louis S. Hernandez

He served in World War II and retired from the U. S. Army and Reserves after 33 years of service. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #8936 and the American Legion Post on Frio City Rd. He is preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Hernandez; brother, Robert Hernandez and sister, Maria Nolaseo. He is survived by his wife, Carmen E. Hernandez; sons, Daniel J. Hernandez, Albert P. Marsalis (Virginia), and Steven K. Myers (Christine); daughters, Rose Munoz, Linda H. Saldana, Sally Marsalis, and Linda V. Ramirez; also, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; caregiver, Virginia Huerta; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday March 18, 2013 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday March 19, 2013 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
