He retired after 40 years of service at Kelly Air Force Base as a supervisor of airplane maintenance.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma G. Parra; parents: Francisco and Angela Parra; and his brother, Alfred T. Martin.
Louis is survived by his sons: Louis F. Parra, Jr.; Donald G. Parra; Gilbert Parra; Michael L. Parra, wife, Katherine and Gregory Parra; grandchildren: Rachel, Christopher, Angela, Christina, Monica, Kenneth, Vanessa, Nicholas, Melinda, Samuel, Alyssa and Ty Gregory; ten great grandchildren; and his sister, Alice M. Orozco.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
