Lowell Winston Morris

Lowell Winston Morris, age 79, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002, was born June 9, 1923 in Bandera County, TX. He was the son of Robert Lafayette Morris and Eleanor Angeline Seale Morris who preceded him in death, as well as his brother Warren Morris. He was a sixth generation Texan. Winston was a member of the Northern Oaks Church of Christ, and had been a faithful Christian since the age of 13. Winston served his country in World War II from 1942 to 1946 in the United States Army. He was a part owner of Aggregate Plant Products Company APPCO for many years. He belonged to patriotic organizations: Past President of San Antonio Sons of the American Revolution, Treasurer of Sons of the Republic of Texas Chapter, Member of the Sons of 1812, and a grandson of a Confederate soldier Hoods TX Brigade SCV Camp. He was a life member of the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, and a Director Emeritus. He was a member of the San Antonio Genealogical Society, and Republican Party. He had a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sul Ross State University. He is survived by his wife, Ina Burnett Morris; stepson, Michael Campbell and wife Debbie; stepdaughter, Alissa Campbell Bellows. As well as he always considered "his grandchildren", Alexander Roth Lowell Campbell, Elizabeth Morris Bellows and Kelly Ales Campbell; his nieces, Judith Lee Morris McSpadden and husband, Larry; great nieces, Wendy Corrine McSpadden Spradley and Doug, Eryn Louise McSpadden Seifert and Stephen; grand nephews, Kyle and Tate Seifert; and many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock at Porter Loring. SERVICE
