I am sorry this condolence is late as I just found out about Aunt Lu's passing today. Although she was not my aunt that is how I knew her and referred to her through my childhood friends which were her nieces Letty and Becky. You have my deepest sympathy.

On behalf of the Sanchez family, I want to sincerely express my condolences. Mom and Lucila had a special and unique bonding that very few people will ever experience. Lucila was tremendously helpful in getting mom acclimated to life in USA. They were the best of friends, relatives, and neighbors. Mom always asked about Lucila and she was one of the first people to contact when visiting from Muzquiz. In these last few days I saw Lucila's smile in Yvonne, heard her laughter through Frankie, and listened to her undisputed talking through Laura. God bless all of you. You will be in our prayers. The Ibarra family was one of the few lucky ones that had the most wonderful lady as a wife, mother and grandmother. I remember when Laura used to work at ITC I would always have lunch with her, and we would sometimes go to her house to watch "Days of Our Lives". Mrs. Ibarra would make fun of us because we were so hooked on that soap. She and Mr. Ibarra have brought up a wonderful family and that I am privileged to have known. My prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow.

To my Dearest Uncle Frank, Yvonne, Laura, Frankie, Eric & Alex, God is with you at this time of sorrow. We all loved Aunt Lou very much and always will. She had a wonderful and very bright smile that melted you away, not to mention a great laugh. I will never forget her. The first thing I told my mom Liz was that she is ok, shes smiling and laughing and dancing around with my Grandpa/Papa Jesse Castro. With all my Love Always, You will be in my prayers.

Dear Mr. Ibarra, Laura, and Yvonne: I can't adequately express how deeply I feel your loss. I talked to Lucille on the phone briefly a month or so ago. Lucille and I said, "I love you," to each other. I look back on that and treasure her kindness and thoughtfulness in always thinking of other people. She knew I hadn't been well and, eventhough she was sick herself, she wanted me to know that she was thinking of me. She could never have known how many times I thought of her and each of you. She and Frank raised a tender-hearted, beautiful daughter, Laura, who will always be my dear, dear friend. From talking to Lucille for the last 13 years, I can clearly see where Laura got her sympathetic and loving nature. Lucille was one of those people you tuck away in your heart and cherish the fact they are there. I loved her. And I love each of you more than you could know.

Uncle Frank.. 
I am so sorry I am not able to attend the mass. I loved Aunt Lou very much..she was always so nice to all of us! We would come into town and she would always have something to eat and our rooms ready for us to sleep. Always with a smile and so happy to see us. I will miss her dearly, and she has a special place in my heart!

Ibarra Family, Please accept my condolence. Your mother and wife must have been a wonderful person, because she brought up two wonderful daugthers and a son. I know Laura personnally and she always has a smile on her face. What a great gift. May God Bless Your Family.
