Lucy Galvan

Our dear sweet Mom, Lucy Galvan passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 96, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born April 11, 1927, in San Antonio, to parents, Federico Carmona and Mercedes de Luna. Lucy was the third born of four siblings. She loved art, classical music, ballet and opera. But foremost she loved and cherished her family and friends. And she made friends with any stranger she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, sisters and most recently her husband, Gilbert; they were married 69 years. Lucy is survived by her daughters, Stella Gold and her husband Todd; and Alice Gold and her husband Steve; grandchildren Cole Mirek, Garrett Gold and his wife Vanessa, Grant Gold and his wife Lou, Leslie Gold-Morales and husband Jon, Matthew Gold and his wife Alysen and great grandsons Dylan Hernandez, Ryker Gold and Carl Gold, Maverick Morales, Makena Morales, Nora Gold. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Diana Lopez, Elizabeth and David Willis, Beverly Johns, David Johns, Mark Silva, JoAnn Aitken, Laura and Dennis Collins and Julie Twist.
