Luis Ramon Salas Jr.

A Luis Ramon Salas Jr. born in Laredo, Texas on April 09, 1950 was called home to be with the Lord, on July 18, 2016 in San Antonio Texas at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his wife Yolanda and parents Elisa & Luis R. Salas. Luis Jr. was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was part of many medical Missions with WOGO and was an open heart nurse for over 35 years. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by daughter Anna Bonilla (Jose), son Luis Salas III (Kathryn), grandchildren; Tristan Bonilla, Parker Salas, his partner Rose Prather and her children Brandy Prather, Mikey Lozano, & her grandchildren; Giselle & Delilah Rodriguez, siblings; Fernando Salas (Mary), Joe Salas(Edna), Edward Salas(Sandra), Tina Dominguez (Juan) Rosa Rivera (Carlos). A visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Everyone will meet at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
