Luke Carroll Berridge

Born on July 15, 2000, Luke was the beloved son of Helen and Mark Berridge. He graduated from Saint Mary’s Hall in 2019 and went on to earn his degree from Southern Methodist University’s Lyle School of Engineering in May 2025.

Luke’s benevolent spirit and zest were evident in all he did in life. He loved scuba diving, water skiing, and traveling, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with his family and friends. Luke competed in water ski competitions, where his drive and enthusiasm shone brightly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol and Jack Berridge.

He is survived by his loving parents, Helen and Mark Berridge; his brothers, Christopher Andrew Berridge, and Matthew Herrmann Berridge and his fiancé Rebecca Davis Bradley; grandparents, Maria and Monty McDonald, and Karen and Ronald Herrmann; his beloved Pomeranian, Coco; along with many other relatives and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Luke will be remembered for his vibrant energy, kind heart, and the joy he brought to every moment. Though his time with us was far too short, his warmth, compassion, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial mass will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209, beginning at 1:30 pm. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Berridge, Jack Gillum and Sam Berridge.
