Luz was born on July 23, 1947 in the city of Mandaluyong in the Philippines. She went on to obtain a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology. Throughout her life, she worked as a secretary, a medical technologist, and a unit clerk, though her favorite vocation was that of mother and grandmother. She is survived by her cherished children and their loving families: daughter Jane Godelia, daughter Katherine Diaz, and son Paul Nolasco.
In addition to being a mother, grandmother, and hard-working professional, Luz enjoyed a lively social life and was the light of every party, where she loved dancing and singing karaoke. At home, Luz adored collecting pictures, writing letters, decorating and organizing her house, watching her favorite Lifetime movies, reading books and magazines, and above all else, going to church.
Luz will be remembered by her loved ones for her strength, beauty, grace, her cleanliness and orderliness, her beautiful handwriting, her unwavering faith, and of course, for being an irreplaceable and remarkable sister, friend, wife, mother, and grandmother.
