Lynn attended Texas A&M and was a WWII Veteran. He was branch manager of Simplex Fire Alarm Company for many years, and was a former officer with the San Antonio Senior Golf Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in January; his parents, Lynn P. Carter, Sr. and his wife, Elsie; and his brother, Harry F. Carter.
He is survived by his son, Lynn Preston Carter, III of Floresville, TX; daughter, Victoria Mefford and husband, Dale of Goliad, TX; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Gene Redman and husband, Dave of Richardson, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
