He served in the military for 21 years and retired as a First Sergeant in the Army. He was a member of Men of the Chapel, Sports Foundation, Paseo Del Rey, Jewish Community Center, Alamo Area Wood Carvers, River Art Gallery, Fort Sam Mentor Program, and Nolan Street Bridge Feed the Homeless.
He also did volunteer work at Ft. Sam and in the San Antonio Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Breaux and Malcolm Greig, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ethel Mae Greig; daughters, Darlene S. Cabello and husband, Al, and Rosalind M. Peters and husband, Mike; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren, all of the Fort Sam Houston Community.
