Welo, I have so many memories with you.
Growing up it would excite me everytime you went fishing and when you took us with you. I'd get all upset if you left without me. I'd tell you next time wake me up welo! But i enjoyed being around while you prepared the fish and I dreamed to drive the boat. 
When I was learning to drive everyone was terrified of my driving and you were the only one who would practice with me. You were the first one to let me get behind the wheel of your truck.  
I miss laying in bed with you watching movies. How you'd watch cartoons with us when we were young and even when we were grown it was a thing we never stopped doing together. Your favorite was Tom and Jerry and the Iron Giant. I miss and love the moments shared when we'd put on one of your favorite movies especially Tarzan and how you'd do your own Tarzan yell. 
Welo, I'm lucky to have had you as a father figure in my life. 

My Grandfather, mi Manuelito, mi Abuelo Macho. I wish you could have been here longer, but am happy to know that you left this Earth in peace and are now able to rest. 

He was always there for my sister and I, from road trips, to school pickups, to giving driving advice. There was never a dull day with him. Gritos, chistes, y caminando a la pulga were common occurrances. My sister and I tagging along for every trip to his ranch and seeing our home be built, piece by piece. We were the ones blessed to have grown up with our grandfather for many years.

I hope that we can all remember him for the love he would show. No matter what may happen to him in life, good or bad, he would always say how beautiful his wife was and all his children. How proud he was. How much he loved them. 

The photo here is my favorite one. My Grandparents staring each other down, another moment of joking around with each other, just to suddenly burst into laughter. It's in this photo that I can see the youthful love that started it all.

Daddy I know you ask me to be strong but I can’t I miss you I feel lost without you you taught me so many things how to change my oil from my car to open up a 401(k) to always keep money in my account to be the head of the household you told me work hard because no one is going to help you . I can still hear you call my name. Daddy I love you so much I don’t know how to let you go 

Oh, so many memories! He was so kind to me and my family! He would laugh and it would always make you want to laugh, too! God bless the family, please, in this time of missing Mr. Manuel. I can imagine his being at Your Feet, Lord, and may his family have Your Peace during this time of missing him.
