My uncle Manuel was one of the most genuine human beings I've had the pleasure of knowing. He never spoke in a negative or judgmental manner, and he was always courteous and welcoming when ever we met no matter how much time had passed. His personality and demeanor are exemplified in the people he surrounded himself with, the activities he enjoyed and the causes he supported. I know his family will miss him very much, as will I and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Manuel was great at sharing his international tax knowledge with me while we worked on different aspects of foreign nationals' efforts to  comply with US laws and regulations.  Always very thoughtful.  He will be missed. Nancy Taylor Shivers

I am so sorry to hear about Manuel.  I worked with him in the late 80's through the late 90's at Sol Schwartz & Associates.  He and I were the "Audit Department" back then, just the two of us.  He was a wonderful person that I still remember today like it was yesterday.  Although I had not spoken with him in many years, he will always be remembered with a lot of great memories. My condolences go out to Manuel's wife Becky, his daughter Jeanette, and son Manuel, as well as his grandchildren and other family members. I was fortunate enough to be under the tutelage of Manuel and work beside him for many years. He was truly a great mentor and he will be missed. He leaves us all with great memories.
