Manuel C. Montelongo went to be with the Lord December 15, 2011 at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Mr. Montelongo is survived by his wife Carmen S. Montelongo; daughters Gloria Rodriguez (Richard), Cynthia Montelongo-Bernal, Sylvia Perez (George); son Gilbert Hernandez, Jr.; grandchildren Briana Perez, Sara Montelongo-Bernal; great grandchildren Liani Hernandez, Kalem Hernandez. A visitation will begin, Sunday, December 18, 2011, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Monday, December 19, 2011 at 8:15 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
