Marcela found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, bowling, watching her favorite novelas, and playing bingo. She also had a special talent for baking cakes and was known for the time she lovingly devoted to her family. Playing the lottery together was one of the many ways she shared her life with her loved ones.
Marcela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Catarino B. Gomez, her parents, Santos and Francisca Moreno, and other cherished family members.
She is survived by her daughters and sons: Maria G. (Raymond Garcia), Azalia G. Lupercio, Sulema G. Longoria; Catarino B. III Gomez (Elsa), Steve Gomez (Susana O.), Ernest Gomez (Gloria), Marcela G. (Edmund Quinones (aka Precious), and Veronica Gomez (Edward Cantù); her siblings, Rosalio Moreno (Martha) and sister Maria de Jesus (James McQuoid). Marcela touched the lives of so many with her kindness, faith, and generous spirit. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted servant of God. We will never forget you, Mom. Your love, wisdom, and devotion to both God and family will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.
