Margaret "Peggy" Bingham Smock was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on March 7, 1927 and was called home to be with her beloved husband, Robert at the age of 86. She came to the United States in 1947.
Margaret was a member of the Regina Guild and loved to travel to Northern Ireland, California, Colorado, Hawaii, and enjoyed her retirement life with Robert. They were happily married for 44 years. She was a longtime member of Northwood Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Smock; and brother, Derick Bingham. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Debra Walden York, Carolyn Smock Friend; grandchildren David and Ian York; great-grandchildren Gia, Judah and Greyson York; brother, Desmond Bingham.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
