Margarita was the oldest of eight siblings and would always make sure to care of them. Margarita was very loving and caring to all her family and friends. She would help anyone in need. Margarita would love to visit with family and friends. She took joy in sharing her time with everyone. Margarita was creative. She loved to crochet and would pour her love into the blankets she made for every single close family member. She was a great dancer, she would dance to Cumbias, Tejano music, and anything that had a good beat. She loved to listen to George Strait. Later in life, she discovered a love for movies and shows. She would spend time watching Family Feud, Golden Girls, Texas Ranger or just the Hallmark Channel. She met Manuel Rodriguez at a Thanksgiving dance and it was love at first sight, got married and they happily spent 48 years together.
Most of all, Margarita was known for her compassion. She would volunteer and give a helping hand to anyone in need. Her favorite pastime was to have a good time and spend quality time with the people she loved.
She will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Juanita Casillas and Samuel Salinas; her daughter, Juanita “Janie” Ramos; grandsons, Brandon Navarro, and baby Jerry Ramos; and her sister, Antonia Trevino.
Margarita's memory will always live in her husband, Manuel Rodriguez; her children, Jimmy (Ari) Rodriguez and Valerie Rodriguez; her grandkids, Dominique Rodriguez, Eric Navarro, and Mia Ramos; her bonus granddaughters Destiny Lechuga, Trinity Dickson, Aribella Dickson. Her best friend/sister by heart, Maria Lourdes Garcia; her siblings, Samuel (Priscilla), Roland (Liz), Marcos, Louis (JoAnn), Armando, and Elizabeth (Jerry); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
