Margarita Tellez

Margarita Torres Tellez was born in General Cepeda, Coahuila to Victor Torres and Cruz Leija on August 29, 1933. She worked proudly as a housekeeper and accomplished her dream by obtaining Permanent Residency in the United States.

Margarita Torres Tellez is preceded in death by Juan Carlos Tellez, Victor Torres, Cruz Leija, Obdulia Torres Leija, Josefina Torres Leija,Juan Torres Leija, Esthela Torres Leija, Victor Torres Leija, Maria Rivas and her beloved dog, Odie.

Margarita Torres Tellez is survived by Sisters Gabina Torres Leija and Patricia Torres Leija. Grandchildren Isaac Tellez, Moses Tellez and Carla Tellez and Alex Martell.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Tellez, Alex Martell, Richard Gill, Ralph Mayen, Tony Cerda and Jose Luis Rivas Torres.

Rosary will be at 7:30pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with a burial following at Sunset Memorial Cemetery at 11:15am.
