Juanita era la devota viuda de Pedro Álvarez. Juntos crearon una familia que le trajo alegría y calidez a su vida. Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Gloria, Pedro (María), Alberto (Frances), Roque (Martha) y Esther.

El corazón de Juanita tenía un lugar especial para sus hijos fallecidos, Luz María, María de Jesús y Ventura, junto con sus nietos fallecidos, Adrian, Luis y Juan Carlos. Ella siempre los recordaba con amor.

Amante de las flores vibrantes y los pájaros melodiosos, la casa de Juanita en San Miguel era un reflejo de sus pasiones. A lover of vibrant flowers and melodious birds, Juanita's home in San Miguel was a reflection of her passions. The walls of her house were adorned with colorful blooms, creating a beautiful sanctuary filled with life. The soothing sound of birds singing surrounded her, bringing her joy and peace each day.

Juanita was also the proud grandmother of many grandchildren: Juan Carlos, Paulo, Ernesto, Yvette, Solimar, Ruby, Kimberly, Rocky, Ramiro, Adrian, Natalie, Wendy, Miguel, Uriel, Linice, Adriana, and Daniel. Her grandchildren were a source of immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St.Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1918 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. Services will conclude at the church.
