

Maria Angelica Bravo Sanchez, 87, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024. She was born on March 20, 1937, in Espinazo, Mexico, to Carmen Barrera Hernandez and Eleuterio Sanchez Ortiz. Angelica grew up in Mexico and became a dedicated elementary school teacher. She met and married Emilio Bravo, Sr., and together they built a loving family after moving to the United States.
Angelica was known for her joyful spirit, love of flowers, and cherished time spent playing Canasta with her family. She was also a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Her warmth and nurturing nature created a strong bond within her family, and her presence always brought people together.
Angelica is preceeded in death by her husband Emilio Bravo, Sr.; parents, Carmen Barrera Hernandez and Eleuterio Sanchez Ortiz; son, David Bravo; brothers, Oscar Sanchez (Laura) and Jose Eleuterio Sanchez Barrera (Beatriz); and sister, Rosa Elva Comeau (Robert).
She is survived by her children Emilio J. Bravo (Ana Maria), Ricardo Bravo (Sarah), Joaquin Garza (Jessie) and Carmen Aguilar (Ramon); grandchildren, Mariana, Alondra, Mirka, Ricardo Emilio (Leslie), Sara (Jesus), Carolyne Ysatis (Alex), Christian (Tatiana), Kenneth, Frieda; great grandchildren, Ella, Matthew, Olivia, Aubree and Gabriel. Sister, Carolina Reavis Sanchez and numerous other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
