Maria M. Dorado

July 17, 1923 – July 10, 2024

It is with deep sadness, but also joy in the promise of eternal life with our Lord, Jesus Christ, we

share that our beloved, Maria M. Dorado (Blanca) was received to be with the Lord with open arms

on July 10, 2024, at the age of 100. She received her wings peacefully surrounded by her family and

loved ones and was reunited with the love of her life, Raul Dorado Sr.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emilio and Luz Mora, (Son) Raul Dorado Jr., (Sisters) Alicia, Emilia, (Brothers) Anastacio, Roberto, Raymundo Sr. (Sister-In-Law) Carrie Calderon, and (Brother-In-Law) Frankie Dorado.

She is very loved and will be greatly missed by her children Ricky Dorado, Veronica D. Urias (Noel), Rene Dorado (Nancy), Sylvia Dorado (Daughter-In-Law), (Sisters) Evangelina, and Margarita, (Grandchild) Denise (Isaac), Valerie, Cristina (Albert), Isaac, Rene (Denise), Dennis, Moses (Samantha), Brandon, Adrian, Romy (Great Grandchildren) Isaiah, Jazlyn, Zariah, Olivia, Penelope, Scarlett, Cataleya, Margalo, Scarlett, Velkan, Meryssa, Dennis Jr., Daniel, Tony, Monique, Renee, Jason, Jacob, Jayden, Faith, and Moses Jr. (Great, Great Grandchildren) Aiden and Ethan, and other loving family members and friends.

Maria was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was an

amazing cook and was known for her homemade flour tortillas, sweet tea, delicious chicken,

tacos and fideo. Maria was a devoted member of Las Guadalupanas at St John Berchmans Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas. Her commitment to her faith community was unwavering, and she

found great joy in serving our Lord Jesus Christ and her church. With Maria’s strong faith, she

prayed for any who were in need. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones, but we know that she is right where she wanted to be, beside her loving husband and son.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, July 21,2024, at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria de Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, TX 78237. A celebration will be on Monday, July 22, 2024, starting with a procession from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
