Maria G Guerra

She is preceded in death by her parents, Abram & Paula Garcia; beloved husband, Tomas Guerra and her grandsons, Danny Delgado, Peter Michael Guerra and Damian Guevara.

She is survived by her children, Eva Delgado, Carlos Guerra, Angelina Guevara (Homero), Yolanda Garza, Diana Serna, Carrie Rivera (Rosendo), Connie Ybarra (Louis), Estella Ramirez and Tomas Guerra Jr.; 32 Grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren.

Maria was a devoted Catholic, dedicating her mornings and evenings to praying the rosary. Her Sundays were filled with joy and warmth as she hosted family gatherings, where she lovingly prepared meals for all her family members. Her love for flowers was evident in the meticulous care she took of her lawn, often seen mowing and cleaning the driveway and sidewalk to perfection. In her quieter moments, she found enjoyment in solving word search puzzles.

Maria's family will forever cherish the blessings she bestowed upon them, as she prayed over them and their children each time they left her home. Her presence and prayers will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Thursday, December 4, 2025 a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at El Carmen Cemetery in Losoya, Texas.
