Maria was a graduate of Brackenridge High School and was very active with the Reunion Committee and the TR Rough Riders Band. She had a wonderful eye for color and movement and loved to create floral pieces and other items for Fiesta or any fun occasion.
Maria is survived by her daughter, Lucinda Lara; her sisters, Christina Solis-Grapes and her husband Alex Grapes, Margaret Lehman and her husband Alex Lehman. Brother, David M. Solis, as well as Nephews: Marco Moreno, Jose David (JD) Solis, Eric Lehman, and James Lehman; Nieces: Celeste Solis and Nichole Lehman; along with all her "Brackites", TR Band Alums, several cousins, and other special friends.
