Maria was born to Urbano and Tomasa and later married Antonio Lomas in Ojitos, Mexico. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and a stay-at-home mother, raising five children. Maria was deeply involved in her Catholic Church in Ojitos, Mexico and found joy in spending time in her garden and crocheting.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Lomas. She is survived by her children: Maria Lomas, Joel Lomas, Ismael Lomas, Linda Carvajal, and Mary Gaytan; her grandchildren: Karina, Emily, Brian, Joel Jr, Magaly, Nataly, Cecilia, Alma, Ana, Rosy, Nancy, Carla, Robert, and Karlos; and her 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joel, Ismael, Karlos, and Robert.
All funeral services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
Reception and visitation will begin on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., with the rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m.
Mass will be held Monday, January 19, 2026 at 12:30 p.m., with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m.
