Maria Z. Lopez born on February 28, 1936 was called to be with the Lord on February 8, 2014 at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco A. Lopez, Jr.; daughter, Frances L. Flores; brothers, Alberto and Crecencio Perez, Jesus and Alejandro Zuniga. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Lopez-Barragan and husband,Rudy; grandchildren; Anthony E. Flores, Eric J. Flores and Alejandro Barragan; sisters, Rosa “Lupe” Perez; brothers, Ascencion Alonzo and Francisco Suniga; also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
