Maria Josefa Navarro Ortiz, age 90, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1932, in Monterrey, Mexico to her parents, Felipe and Lola Jaime Navarro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola and Felipe Navarro; brothers: Ramon Navarro, Felipe Navarro, Jose Louis Navarro; sister, Lupita Navarro; her son, Jose Louis N. Ortiz; and her husband, Louis R. Ortiz.
Maria is survived by her children, Felipe N. Ortiz (Leticia), Juan Antonio N. Ortiz, Ramon N. Ortiz, Aurelio N. Ortiz, grandchildren, Cristal Castro, Nicholas Ortiz, Nathan Ortiz, Aaron Ortiz, Philip Ortiz, Jr., Jeffrey Ortiz (Pricilla), Gregory Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz, Christopher Ortiz, Harley Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Jr., America Marie Ortiz, and Christian Aurelio Ortiz, and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm., Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
