Maria Reyes, age 45 of San Antonio, died on Monday, June 5, 2017. Maria was an outstanding mother, wife, and very giving and selfless. Maria earned a Master's degree in Education graduating from Texas A&M San Antonio, Summa Cum Laude. She taught special needs at High School level at Churchill. She loved to paint and was very creative and gifted.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Reyes; sons, Shawn Reyes and Noah Reyes; mother, Mary Younger and her husband Larry Younger; siblings, Eddie Santana, Jessica Betancourt and James Marsh, and Orlando Reyes; aunt and uncle, Sylvia Gonzalez and her husband David Gonzalez; cousins, David Jr., Valerie, Eric Plata; aunts, Linda Sotelo and Lucy Plata; uncle, Victor Sotelo; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Oakhills Westside Campus Bldg 7.
