She is preceded in death by her parents, Espiridion & Hermenejilda Reyna , Husband Rudy Pantoja Garza, and 9 of her siblings, Daughter Cynthia Ann Uriegas

She is survived by her children, Daniel Gallegos, Reynaldo Gallegos (David Henry), Lori Garza, Carolyn Garza, Annette Garza and Rudy Garza, Jr.; her sister, Maria Pura Davis; grandchildren, Shelly Maldonado, Frankie Uriegas, Sarah Gallegos, Michael Gallegos, Marcus Cortez and Lorenzo Cortez and great granddaughters, Ava Marie Gallegos, Brianna Marie Maldonado, Kloe Lynn Maldonado, Saleen Jean Gallegos, Chevelle Ann Gallegos, and great grandsons , Damian Javier Maldonado, Emanuel C Gallegos, Frank Gabriel Uriegas

Maria, affectionately known as Licha, was raised and attended school in D'Hanis, Texas. She was a member of El Carmen Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas where she taught CCD classes.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, 375 Co Rd 5214, D'Hanis, Texas 78850 with interment to follow at San Francisco Cemetery (D'Hanis, Texas).
