Maria Louisa Whipple passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2002. Maria, or "Skye" as she was affectionately known by many of her friends, was born on October 8, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Alamo Heights schools and graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy. She was a licensed vocational nurse, and a resident of Seguin for the past 15 years. She loved this time of the year, the Fall, when she could enjoy her beloved "Cowboys," watching the game, most likely, at the house of a close friend, Joanie Alexander, with Joanie and her family. Maria's father, Lester Whipple, died in 1974. Maria is survived by her mother, Louise Whipple Arnold; her sister, Sandy East and her husband, Myron East; nephews, Bradley and Linden East; and niece, Kelsey East.
