At 2:00 PM on September 14, a Memorial Service will be held at the Sunset North Funeral Home for Mrs. Marianne Wilson (nee Friesen) who passed away recently. The funeral home is located at 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas.
Marianne was born on October 4, 1938 in Hof, Germany. She met her husband, William A. Wilson, in 1954 in Bitburg, Germany where he was stationed with the U.S. Air Force. They married in 1957 and went on to have four children. Marianne passed away after a long illness on September 11, surrounded by family.
Marianne is survived by her husband, William A. Wilson, their four children (Tracy, Guy, Patrick and Linda) and eight grandchildren (Victoria, Sean, Connor, Will, Lauren, Alessandra, Caroline and Alex).
A simple service celebrating Marianne’s life will be held at the Sunset North Funeral Home. Refreshments will be provided.
All friends and family are welcome.
The family asks that a contribution be made in Marianne Wilson's name to the Heart to Heart Hospice or Alzheimer’s Research in lieu of flowers.
