Marie Johnson, age 90, of San Antonio passed away January 6, 2016. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on September 16, 1925 to Dewey and Gladys Kemp. She was married to Dr. Robert Johnson in 1959. She was Past Worthy President of the Social Order of the Beauceant, Past Queen of the Nekodah Temple No. 44, Daughters of the Nile, and a member of the Woman’s Club of San Antonio.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 11th at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shriners’ Hospitals for Children at Alzafar Shrine; 901 N Loop 1604 W; San Antonio, TX 78232.
