Bill and Family, I was so saddended to hear of Mario's passing. Bill, I know no words can ease your pain, however, I do want to share with you that I only had the oportunity to speak to Mario on two or three occasions and I thought he was incredible. He was always so kind and respectful. I know he awaits you in heaven. Your MOM and Mario are now together in paradise. God Bless, Terri De La Haya

Dear Bill, Alejandro, and family, I realize there are now words, however heartfelt, that can provide the comfort I'd like for you to have. I pray you be strengthened through God's grace and peace. You are in my daily prayers. The last time I saw Mario I was so impressed with him. His handsome looks and his genuine charisma were striking. He spoke with such 'gentleman like' manners. He definitely made an impact on me.

Dear Bill and Sanchez family, I was saddened to hear about your loss. I am sure Mario lived his life as an honorable and amazing young man as your entire family has always been. May God grant you comfort during this most difficult time. My prayers are with you.

I've known Mario since we were little kids. We both liked movies and traveling and used to have our parents drive us to the cinema every weekend. He traveled with the Navy and upon returning home to Texas had started getting small extra roles in films. Just when it seemed like he was going to finally be able to do what he always wanted he was taken. Life seems unfair when somebody so determined is lost while so many others who let their talents fall by the wayside remain. My condolences to Bill Sanchez and his brother Alejandro.

I ask that you pray for me as I pray for you that the memory of Mario will continue. I will emphasize the promotion of music and art in religion education, and as Msgr. Garcia said, the Mexican tradition, because this is who we are, this is Mario.

Watching you grow from a little boy with a huge smile into a confident, self-assured young man was a joy. I hope you know how much you were loved. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Sanchez and Alejandro, Words are inadequate to express the shock and sadness I feel upon learning of Mario's passing. Mario was a very special person. I am so happy to have had the chance to know him, teach him, and watch him grow into such a fine young man. When he came back to Glenoaks a few years ago just to say "Hi" I was filled with such warmth and fond memories of having him in my class. Despite the difficulities encountered early in his life he never acted out or caused any major problems in the classroom. Having Alejandro a few years later was an extra bonus as it gave me a chance to keep up with how Mario was doing and get to know you and Alejandro better. My wish for you both is that happy memories of Mario, the time you had together, and his many accomplishments will help to ease the pain and loss you feel. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Warmest condolences to the Sanchez family and friends. Mario was a wonderful person who treasured his friendships and treated everyone as he would of wanted to be treated. My friends and I are deeply saddened by this loss and were looking forward to seeing him Saturday night at his workplace, but God had another plan for Mario in heaven. He will be missed.
