Martha M. Gonzales

Martha Gonzales passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 79, in Windcrest, Texas. Her battle with esophageal cancer in recent years showed her tremendous courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Martha was born on March 12, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Olga and Fernando Morales. Martha graduated from South San Antonio High School in 1962 and went on to study at San Antonio College. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fernando B. Morales and Olga Z. Morales; son, Agapito 'Little Ray' Moreno, son Michael Moreno, daughter Lisa Moreno Cukjati; siblings, Fernando Gilbert Morales, Robert J. Morales, Daniel Michael Morales, and Richard David Morales. Martha is survived by her husband Moises Gonzales, children, Enrique Jr. and Diane Lizzie Moreno, Javier and Julie Moreno, Mary Elizabeth Moreno, Curtis Cukjati, Eric and Dora Gonzales, Moses and Karen Gonzales, and Alexis and Mario Vasquez, 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sylvia E. Gordon and Norma O. Estrada. The family will receive guests from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 04, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary at 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212.
