Martha C. Nordley

Martha Creal Baker Nordley went to her eternal home on May 27, 2022, at the age of 83. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Dennis Clair Nordley, beloved children Jay Robert Nordley and Cheryl Lynn Nordley Henk (Jimmy), and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha will always be remembered as the fun-loving MeeMaw to Cody Nordley (Winifred), Brandon Nordley (Maggie), Grace Nordley, Jessica Aaron (Bryan), Jamie Caddell (Justin), and Jason Henk. Great grandmother to DeJuan Hill, Chloe Aaron, Kenzie Aaron, Carsyn Caddell. She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Jay Baker, mother Opal Mae Baker, brother Billy Jay Baker, and sister Peggy Jean Shaper.

Martha worked at Jefferson State Bank for 50 years prior to her retirement. She loved to have a good time and was often considered the life of the party. Many thanks to her loving caregivers that cared for her in her final days at home. Special thanks to Susan Head Webster, whom Martha considered a second daughter, for being present with the family during this trying time.

Services will be held Saturday, June 4th at 12:00 pm at Porter Loring North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas, 78232.
