Mary Louise Brown, was born October 14, 1935, and went to her eternal rest on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 85. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary Louise was known to everyone as “Cookie”. She was a very outgoing person. She volunteered along with her family at St. Cecilia Catholic Church for several years, helping at festivals, church and during the Fiesta Parades. She would love to get together with her group of friends to play Bunco all the time. She loved the San Antonio Spurs and Betty Boop and those who knew her would always see her with either a Betty Boop T-shirt, pin, purse or item that displayed her love for these. She always enjoyed having conversations with her children and grandchildren, talking about life, sports, just about anything.
Mary Louise Brown met the love of her life, Arthur Brown, at a Christmas Party in December of 1955. They were married on June 28, 1958. That was the start of a love story that continued for many years. The love they both shared was endless. They grew their family as the years went by and had four sons and one daughter. When the children were older the family made many Summer trips to Garner State Park where memories were formed. Mary Louise and Arthur loved to go dancing and did so as much as possible. They enjoyed going to the movies and taking trips to the Casinos. At one point they also made a trip to Rome, Italy where they enjoyed the rich foods and sites that Italy had to offer. The trip to Italy was like a second honeymoon to them.
Mary Louise is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Brown, as well as her children, Christopher, Arthur Charles, Andrew, Theresa, Michael, and Frank Brown, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and friends.
