

Born on November 18, 1946, she was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Virginia Colias and her brother-in-law, Strato Batmanis.
Mary Ann is best remembered as an imaginative director in the theater. Her productions were known for striking visual beauty and depth of research.
She taught on the academic drama faculties of Trinity University, St. Phillip's and San Antonio College for many years.
A graduate of Jefferson High School and Trinity University, Mary Ann earned an MFA degree from the Dallas Theater Center under Paul Baker. She was also the artistic director of Design Ink, her design/marketing company known for humorous Texas Christmas cards.
Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Tina Batmanis; her niece, Virginia Ann Batmanis; aunt, Georgia Varelas; Godmother Stella Bournias, Mary Georgia Kladopoulos, and numerous cousins and extended family.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, March 24th at Porter Loring on McCullough.
