Mary Catherine, better known as Cathy to her family and friends was born in Vero Beach, FL on Sept. 27, 1943 to David and Inez Fretwell. She was 1 of 6 children. She was preceded in death by Larry, her husband of 45 years, her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her sons: Lee and his wife Kathy and Jeff, 5 grandchildren: Jacqueline, Jeanette, Evelyn, Joseph and Madisen, and 6 great-grandchildren: Gauge, Zoey, Conway, Tatum, Calvin, and Kennedy.
Her passions included watching football. She would root for any team playing against the Dallas Cowboys, especially the 49’s and Redskins. She loved playing cards and dominos and having coffee with her friends. Mary’s greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her faith in the Lord was known to many and it brought her great comfort at the end of her life, as she is now sitting at the right hand of the Lord.
Her love and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
