Mary Magdeline Dreyer

Mary M. Dreyer passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born on October 2, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Ben and Justina Moy. Mary was a stay at home mom for much of her life. She and her husband, Victor, were transferred to Dallas in 1975. She was employed at Plano High School in the school cafeteria. Mary was active in her church all her life, especially at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years. Mary enjoyed her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and a talented seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor, of 64 years of marriage as well as her brothers, Henry and Joe Moy. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Morkovsky and her husband, Bob; her children, James and his wife Linda; her daughters, Carolyn White and Phyllis Ward and her husband, Gerry as well as her six grandchildren, Megan and Eric Dreyer, Sean White and Matthew, Kevin and Olivia Ward and two great grandsons, Christopher and Carter Dreyer.

Visitation will be at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 1523 Iowa St, San Antonio, TX 78203, from 11 am to noon on Tuesday, December 4, followed by a Rosary at 12 pm, and Mass of Christian burial at 12:30 pm. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston, shelter #1, following the mass at 2:00 pm, and a reception will be held at Sunset Funeral Home from 2:30 – 5:00 pm.
