

Mary Marjorie Connolly Flint of San Antonio, TX, age 92 passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006. She was born in Jersey City, N.J. on Christmas 1913. She grew up in Irish Catholic neighborhood in Jersey City where she attended parochial school.
Mary was a lifelong and devoted Catholic. She was a military wife who traveled to many parts of the world. Mary retired following a lengthy Civil Service career. Upon retiring, she traveled, played bridge and loved being with her family. She also spent many hours as a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital. Mary was beautiful, captivating, dignified and classy. She was loved by all and will impact many lives forever.
Mary was affectionately known as Cat-Cat by her family. The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Lochte family physician, Dr. Steven Kalter, and Christus Santa Rosa Hospice for their tender care. She was preceded in death by her husband Dow Flint; parents, Lucy Brennan Connolly and William James Connolly; brother, Thomas Connolly and beloved aunt, Mamie O'Connell.
Mary is survived by loving daughter, Patricia Smith and husband Dr. John H. Smith of San Antonio, TX; cherished grandchildren, Scott Matthew Smith and wife Jennifer and Caitlin Gilson and husband Fred; treasured great grandchildren, Mary Allison and Lily Grace Gilson and Daisi Sue Smith; beloved nieces, Marsha Nelson and Carol Feldhauser of Tampa, FL: and many devoted friends.
