Mary K. Freeland, 91, died in San Antonio on Thursday, January 8, 2009 after a short illness. Mrs. Freeland was a retired bookkeeper. Her husband, Robert L. Freeland, a retired advertising executive, died in 2000. She was born Mary Katherine Hart October 20, 1917, in Brownwood, Texas. Mrs. Freeland graduated from Daniel Baker College and took postgraduate courses at the University of Texas in Austin. Mrs. Freeland and her husband, Robert L. Freeland were married July 3, 1942. Mrs. Freeland was a member of Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, Tom of Arlington, Virginia; her niece, Rowena Migliavacca of Houston; her niece and grand-niece Mary Lou and Debbie Fulton of Beeville.
