Mary Kearney-Quinn

She was preceded in death by her parents Jane Mitnick and John Kearney.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 19 years, Patrick M. Quinn; sisters, Pattie Hazen and Donna Rae Steele; brother, John Kearney; nephews, Brian Steele and Lee Mangieri; aunt, Renee Connelly and uncle Dennis Connelly.

Over the years she enjoyed traveling, playing golf and scuba diving off of the dive boats in Cozumel Mexico or wherever white sand and blue water could be found. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and headed to Texas.

She was always giving aid and shelter to stray animals needing help, eventually finding homes for all but one. Sam, a brown male rescue dachshund melted her heart and help her get over the passing of her two Dobermans, Jesse and Bailey. With the addition of another dachshund named Grace, to be a playmate with Sam, the house was now complete.

Mary was well respected in business, and will be missed in the San Antonio television and radio advertising market place, having worked as an account executive at KQXT, KABB, KRRT and KTSA. She loved working in the media and always wanted the best for her clients.

Mary last worked part time for a friend at EAS at various Home Depot locations. She used her incredible selling skills to raise the bar as to how this job should be done and enjoyed training several new people how to succeed.

She will be missed by all.
