Mary Edna Nowotny passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the age of 86 in New Braunfels, TX. She was born on January 31, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to William and Mary Wieters. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Judson Nowotny. She is survived by her children: Patricia Wilson (Ray), David Nowotny (Joslyn), Pam Bohannan (Bill); grandchildren: Mary (Eric), David, Amanda, Judson; great-grandchildren: Cecily, Rainey, Chloe, Luke and Kate; Brother: Albert Wieters (Doris).

Mary was a strong Christian. She loved music and had a beautiful soprano voice. She had a green thumb when it came to gardening, and loved to shop. Her diet consisted mainly of powdered sugar doughnuts. She is loved immensely and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1PM at Sunset Memorial Park.
