

After a wonderful life of 99 years plus, Mary Margaret Healy Pearson slipped peacefully away in San Antonio, Texas, from congestive heart failure on October 26, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 12, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri to John Earl and Beatrice Catherine Healy.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband of 59 years, W. Tom Pearson (2002), her sister, Rose Marie Hudson (2003), and sons W. Tom Pearson, Jr. (2014) and Richard John Pearson (1970).
She is survived by her children, Pamela M. Feagin (Sam), Michael Alan Pearson (Sue), and Mary Catherine Shelton (Jack, deceased), eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and Carol Thornhill Pearson.
Mary lived a very full life, gracious and caring. She married Tom during WWII and they moved multiple times. They settled in Houston, Texas where they raised their family. Business moved them to Dallas in the 1970s and on to Tulsa, Oklahoma, again returning to Houston a final time in the early 1980s. After retirement in 1985, they settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma with many friends, golf, volunteering, active in St. Marys Catholic Church, PEO as well as traveling together. Mary relocated to San Antonio in 2004 to be closer to family after Toms passing. She was a breast cancer survivor. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 12th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Followed by brunch at The Club at Sonterra. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
She was laid to rest in Tulsa, Oklahoma November 8, 2021.
